Manuscript Preparation Guide
General Preparation Checklist
To ensure a fast-track peer review process, authors submitting to the International Journal of Management, Economics & Business Studies (IJMEBS) are requested to strictly adhere to the following manuscript preparation standards:
1. Document File Format
Manuscripts must be submitted as editable Microsoft Word documents (.doc or .docx). PDF submissions are accepted for initial peer review but must be converted to MS Word upon acceptance for typesetting.
2. Language & Style
Manuscripts must be written in clear, concise English (Standard US or UK spelling, used consistently throughout). Technical jargon should be defined upon first use.
3. Standard Manuscript Sections
Submitted manuscripts should contain the following structured components in order:
Concise, informative, and reflecting the core research domain (max 20 words).
Structured or unstructured summary (150–250 words) detailing objective, methodology, key findings, and theoretical/practical implications.
4 to 6 relevant indexed keywords.
Background, research problem, research gap, hypothesis/questions, and objectives.
Comprehensive theoretical foundation and conceptual framework.
Research design, data collection, sampling technique, empirical models, and analytical tools.
Empirical findings presented through clear tables/charts, followed by in-depth theoretical discussion.
Summary of findings, managerial implications, policy recommendations, study limitations, and future research directions.
APA 7th Edition style reference list with valid Crossref DOIs.
4. Ethics & Plagiarism
All submitted manuscripts are subjected to similarity checking using Similarity Check / Turnitin. Manuscripts with similarity index exceeding 15% (excluding references) will be returned for revision.
